Care designed for your healing and growth.
At Stone & Stream Counseling, every service is shaped with you in mind. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or alongside your partner, my goal is to provide a space where healing, growth, and deeper connection can take root. Together, we’ll choose the approach that best fits your journey, so you can move forward with clarity, hope, and peace.
Individual Counseling
Individual counseling is a space just for you—a place to slow down, process what’s going on in your life, learn to understand your emotions, and find new ways forward. My approach centers on building trust and connection, so you feel safe to share your story honestly. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing, uncover the hard things’ root causes, and create a path toward healing. Whether you’re navigating relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, faith struggles, or life transitions, my goal is to walk alongside you with care and compassion, helping you discover peace and wholeness as you grow.
Couples Counseling
Relationships are deeply important, but they can also bring pain and misunderstandings. In couples counseling, I provide a safe and supportive space where both partners feel heard, respected, and valued. My focus is on fostering open communication and rebuilding trust so you can better understand each other and work through challenges together. Whether you’re navigating conflict, communication breakdowns, or simply wanting to strengthen your bond, our work together will help you move toward a healthier, more connected relationship—rooted in peace, mutual care, and lasting growth.
At Stone & Stream Counseling, I work with adults across all stages of life—from young adults navigating identity and life transitions, to those in midlife managing relationships and career shifts, to older adults processing loss, change, or questions of purpose. No matter your age or stage, therapy here is designed to meet you where you are and walk with you toward healing and growth.
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, which means I hold awareness of how past wounds may impact your present experiences and always prioritize safety, trust, and empowerment.
Populations served
I also practice with a multicultural lens, honoring the diverse backgrounds, cultures, and faiths that shape each person’s story. This allows me to tailor care that respects your unique perspective while offering tools and insight for the challenges you’re facing.
Stone & Stream Counseling is a private pay practice, which means I do not accept insurance directly. This model allows us to focus fully on your care without the constraints or limitations of insurance requirements. In the next section, you’ll find more information about my rates, payment policies, and what this means for your therapy journey.
Payment accepted
At Stone & Stream Counseling, I strive to make my services clear and transparent. Individual sessions are $150 (50 minutes) and couples sessions are $225 (90 minutes). A sliding scale is available for both individual and couples counseling. Please inquire and discuss this option with me during your first session. Payment is due at the time of service, and I accept all major credit cards and HSA/FSA cards.
Stone & Stream is a private pay practice, meaning I do not accept insurance. This is an intentional choice. Insurance often comes with red tape and requires a mental health diagnosis that may not fully capture your experience. By choosing private pay, you have greater privacy and more freedom to shape your care without restrictions from an insurance company. This allows us to focus on your needs, your pace, and the goals that matter most to you.
If you ever need to cancel or reschedule, I ask that you provide at least 24–48 hours’ notice. Sessions canceled with late notice, or missed appointments, may be subject to a fee.
All clients also have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate before beginning services, so you’ll always know what to expect with your investment in therapy.
